These terms govern use of companion.apexedgesalesengineering.com. They apply to everyone who visits it, whether or not they ever buy anything.

The Service Terms govern a service you have bought. These govern the website itself, so that the material published here is protected whether a reader becomes a subscriber or not. Where both apply and they differ, the Service Terms govern the service and these govern the website.

Using this website means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

1. Who we are

Apex Edge Sales Engineering Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15821626. The Company page carries the registered details and the addresses for correspondence.

2. Business audience

This website is published for businesses. It is not directed at consumers, and nothing on it is an offer to supply a consumer. Nothing on it is directed at children.

3. Website content

We publish this website with reasonable care. We do not warrant that it is complete, current, or free from error, and we may change, withdraw, or add to any page at any time without notice.

We do not warrant that the website will be available uninterrupted or that it will be free from anything harmful. You are responsible for the arrangements you use to reach it.

4. No professional advice

Nothing on this website is legal, regulatory, tax, financial, accounting, or other professional advice, and nothing on it should be relied on as such. Take your own advice before acting.

5. No outcome guarantees

Nothing on this website is a promise about a result. We do not represent that using a Companion Topic will win a deal, pass an evaluation, satisfy an assessor, or produce any commercial outcome. Section 11 of the Service Terms (What no Companion service does) sets out what no Companion service does, and it applies to every claim made here.

Prices, turnarounds, and capacity published here describe our intention at the date of publication. The terms which bind us are those in the Service Terms and the Service Description for the Topic.

6. Intellectual property

This website and its content are owned by Apex Edge Sales Engineering Limited or its licensors. That includes the text, the structure, the layout, the design, the stylesheets, the diagrams, the product and Topic descriptions, the frameworks and methods described, and the code which produces the pages.

You may read this website, and print or save a page, for the purpose of evaluating whether to buy a Companion service, or for your own internal business reference.

You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, translate, republish, distribute, sell, license, scrape, extract, mine, or commercially exploit any part of it without our prior written permission. You may not use it, or anything derived from it, to build, train, support, or improve a competing product or service, including by training, fine-tuning, or evaluating a model on it.

Section 21 of the Service Terms (Intellectual property) governs the intellectual property standing behind the services themselves, including the internal standards, criteria, weightings, thresholds, prompts, and templates. Nothing on this website grants a right to any of it.

7. Trade marks

"Apex Edge Sales Engineering", "ApexIQ", and "ApexIQ Companion" are names, brands, and marks of Apex Edge Sales Engineering Limited, as are the Topic, series, and module names published here. All third-party trade marks are the property of their respective owners.

You may not use our names, marks, logos, or branding without our prior written permission. Permission requests go to legal@apexedgesalesengineering.com.

8. Acceptable use of this website

You may not:

• use this website unlawfully, or in a way which breaches these terms;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to the server which serves it, or to anything connected to it;
• introduce anything malicious, or attempt to interfere with its availability;
• probe, scan, or test its security without our prior written permission; or
• use an automated system to access it in a way which imposes an unreasonable load.

We may block access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

9. What you send us

This website has no account, no login, and no server-side form. Where a Topic provides an intake form which runs in your browser, it transmits none of your answers other than the email address its payment link passes to Stripe, and what you send us you send yourself. Each Topic's Service Description names the channels it accepts.

An intake form's payment buttons take you to Stripe's checkout page, which is Stripe's website and not this one. Payment for a service is governed by Section 8 of the Service Terms (Fees and payment).

Anything you choose to send us is covered by the Confidentiality and Materials document and by the Acceptable Use document. Do not send us anything confidential, or belonging to a third party, before you have read them.

The Privacy Notice explains what personal data we receive and what we do with it. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, which section 2 of the Privacy Notice (The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics) records.

10. Links

This website links to other Apex Edge Sales Engineering websites, and may link elsewhere. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for anything on a website we do not control.

You may link to a page on this website, from a website which complies with section 8, in a way which is fair and does not suggest an association, an approval, or an endorsement we have not given. We may withdraw that permission at any time.

11. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions, and representations about this website which are not expressly stated in these terms, whether implied by statute, common law, or otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this website or reliance on anything published on it, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or reputational harm, whether direct or indirect, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

Where you have bought a service, the liability provisions in section 16 of the Service Terms (Limitation of liability) govern that service.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising from them, whether contractual or not, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may change these terms. The version which applies is the version published on this website at the time you use it. The version stamp and the review date are at the top of this page.
